Dr. McDonald is a native of Washington Court House and is delighted to serve her community. She graduated from Miami Trace High School before pursuing higher education, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University. Dr. McDonald furthered her studies by obtaining her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.

Passionate about her profession, Dr. McDonald has a keen interest in ocular disease, contact lens fittings, and prescribing specialty spectacle lenses and frames that enhance both vision and aesthetics. She is also dedicated to treating dry eye disease using advanced procedures such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy and Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT). With a commitment to providing exceptional eye care, Dr. McDonald ensures her patients see and look fantastic.

Outside of work, Dr. McDonald enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Travel is a passion of hers, and she has visited many of the islands in the Caribbean, where she loves to relax and soak up the sun.

Dr. Kees is especially interested in pediatric optometry, myopia management, specialty contact lenses, dry eye, low vision, and ocular disease. She enjoys getting to know her patients to better provide an experience tailored to their specific needs.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kees enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Benny, and her golden retriever puppy, Lily. She is also very close to her family and friends. She loves watching sports and is a huge Buckeye fan. She also loves traveling, reading, and cooking. On the weekends she is always looking to attend local events and festivals. Dr. Kees is grateful for the trust her patient’s put in her to ensure their vision and eye health is protected!

As a full-time front desk associate, Lisa is the first point of contact for our patients. Lisa has been in the medical field over 20 years, and joined our practice in Marc h of 2025.

Lisa enjoys building relationships with patients and making them feel welcome in our office. Lisa prides herself in making the check in process smooth and seamless for patients. She keeps the front desk running on time which allows our clinical staff to provide excellent patient care.

Outside of work Lisa loves spending time with her husband, Rick of 38 years, her 2 children Patrick and Derickya, along with her 6 grandkids that bring her so much joy!

Mya loves to bring laughter to the practice, and she makes sure that all patients have a good time when they come in the office. She strives to make every patient as comfortable as possible during their exam. Her goal is to bring a smile to someone’s face at least once a day. She is strong in her faith and is always willing to be a helping hand to others around her.

Mya loves to travel around the world and prioritizes making memories with her family. She’s been to 8 different countries so far and continues to grow her love for travel.

Jessica creates a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and well cared for. She thrives on teamwork, problem solving, and enhancing office efficiency to support the practice’s success. With a warm and professional approach, Jessica is proud to be a key part of helping the community see life more clearly!

In her time away from the office, Jessica values time with her family above all else! Jessica is married to her high school sweetheart and spends ample time at the softball field supporting her bonus daughter’s journey on a travel team! Jessica is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She also enjoys reading and baking.

Away from the office she engages with family and friends in game and movie nights. She also values quiet moments at home reading with her cherished cat, Hidy, sits on her lap.

Stephanie is an optician with a strong foundation in the medical field. She brings over 10 years of healthcare experience to the eye care industry. With a background as a medical assistant, she combines clinical knowledge with a technical skill to provide exception patient care and support in our office.
In her current role, Stephanie specializes in assisting patients with frame selection and performing precise adjustments to ensure optimal fit and comfort.

Outside of work, Stephanie is a proud mother of two sons who are active in football, wrestling, powerlifting and track and field. She values family, friends and her faith.

Michelle, a native Californian, and her family bravely ventured to Ohio in 2021, embracing change and growth. In her free time, Michelle’s heart overflows with love for her husband, Jay, the office Mr. Fix-it, and their three precious children, surrounded by their two faithful dogs, Lupo, a retired canine officer, and Colt, a rabbit and a bearded dragon. She treasures every moment spent with her beautiful family, whether tubing on their boat, cheering at sports events for her sons, or admiring her daughter’s artistic skills.

When she isn’t working, Leah is spending time with her son, Kamden, and their German Shepard Dog, Nala; Beagle-mix, Dozer; and cat, Donald. When they aren’t at Kam’s sporting events, they enjoy taking trips to the beach & the mountains, along with going to the movies, shopping, bowling, and anything else they can find to keep busy. She also loves to spend time with her extended family and spoiling her niece, Olivia and nephew, Bennett.

Leah is passionate for helping people in any way possible whether at work or outside of the office. She is grateful for the opportunity to create everlasting relationships with our patients year after year.

Lizzie is a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician with a passion for delivering excellent patient care. With a strong ability to quickly learn and adapt, she is skilled in preparing and testing patients for their exams, updating health records, and ordering contacts. She takes pride in ensuring smooth and efficient office operations while making patients feel comfortable and valued. Whether it’s handling complex tasks or assisting in daily clinic activities, she approaches every responsibility with diligence and attention to detail.
